One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is having the opportunity to capture some of my closest friends and family. Whether it’s trying to capture their laughter or love [or both!], I always enjoy the experience. You never know what exactly is going to happen at a shoot. There are so many variables.
…lighting, temperature, setting, time of day, colors, nerves, excitement, and the list goes on…
At this particular shoot, everything seemed to be just right including the adorable love these two have for one another.
I’ve known Sarah for just over 7 years now. We met back at Ohio State in a women’s study summer class. Sarah’s major was interior design [and I should mention that she is incredibly talented] and mine was architecture. What were the odds two design majors ended up taking a women’s study class in the summer? Our friendship was just meant to be. Cheesy but true.
Nick + Sarah go way back. They actually have known each other since high school. Nick went to Ohio State as well, and now they both live in Colorado. Lucky me!
These two quickly warmed up in front of the camera and seemed to be having a lot of fun.
We headed to Boulder for the shoot and walked around Chautauqua Park, admiring the gorgeous light + vibrant glow.
Addison, their furry friend, looked at the camera right when I needed her to.
And this is when I yelled, “Addison, come!”
Then we headed up Boulder Canyon for a few more shots.
Best wishes to the soon-to-be newlyweds!
